Here you can benefit from what has been learned through a wide range of teaching responsibilities spanning more than three decades that include:

• Private studio instructor (pre-K to experienced adult)
• Classroom guitar instructor (Middle school/High School/College)
• Group guitar instructor (Adult beginners/Suzuki students)
• Guitar ensemble director (Elementary/Middle School/High School)

In short, I have been very involved in formal guitar education for all of my professional life.

Over the years I have witnessed an exponential growth in the use of guitar in the classroom, and I have observed that many teachers are underprepared for the responsibility of conducting effective group guitar instruction. This site seeks to assist these teachers to better execute their teaching duties.
